I just received an "invitation" to a 45th reunion party for the #Georgetown University Law School #GULS graduating class of 1981.

It has also been 55 years since I graduated from #Berkeley & 59 years since I graduated from #LowellHighSchool.

I wonder if my HS class of 1967 is going to have a 60th reunion next year. The last one that I heard about was a 40th reunion back in 2007.

There’s an apocryphal story that #Stanford’s Cardinal color and team name were inspired by those of #SanFrancisco’s #LowellHighSchool, the latter being the more venerable and better-known institution at the time of the university’s founding.

Maybe it’s too perfect a story to be true, but the current Lowell goalkeeper nonetheless wore the Cardinals’ team colors to represent, while her proud dad had to make due with Giants and Sutro wear.

Class of 1967 here. One of the 1st classes to enroll in and graduate from the campus on Eucalyptus Drive.
