The Daily Aus has reported this morning that 300 ex-employees have launched a class action against their former employer, jewellery retailer, Lovisa.

"The lawsuit filed in the Federal Court alleges employees were underpaid, restricted from taking their breaks, and suffered hostile working conditions.

All employees involved worked for Lovisa’s Australian stores between 2018 and 2024."

Heads up, anyone who #shops at Lovisa. Their in-store prices may be higher than their on-site prices. And since they have a practice of emailing your receipt rather than printing it up, you often don't know until you get the email with your e-receipt.

So sure, go look in Lovisa stores...but either confirm the in-store price per item before you pay, or just take pictures of the SKUs, go home, and shop online.

There is no notice on the site that prices on the site differ from in-store prices.
