"Love's Theme" is an #instrumental piece written by #BarryWhite in 1965 but recorded and released as a single by White's #LoveUnlimitedOrchestra in late 1973. It was one of the few instrumental and purely #orchestral singles to reach #1 on the #Billboard Hot 100 chart in the United States, which it did in early 1974. Billboard ranked it as #3 on the #YearEndHot100SinglesOf1974. Over the years, Love’s Theme became one of the best-selling pop instrumentals of all time.
