Just a stray thought to piggyback off of my last Gram Parsons post.
I realize how many artists have covered “Love Hurts”, but the best version clearly belongs to Gram Parsons (and Emmylou).
The version on Grievous Angel has that stripped-down, aching country feel that really fits the lyrics of that song.
It’s far less polished than say…the Nazareth version, but way more intimate sounding.
Gram Parsons had a way of making heartbreak sound… almost noble.

While I own a few on DVD, I 'm not a fan of farcical comedies.
So, I've never watched the original #NakedGun & never plan to watch the remake either.
The quick release of theatrical flops like the remake of Naked Gun for streaming is becoming quite common.
I recently took a brief look at #LoveHurts ("starring" Ke Huy Quan) which was likewide quickly released for streaming on #PrimeVideo.
Unfortunately, it was yet another farce that I thought was idiotic & simply not worth my time to watch.🤷

The most depressing thing I've faced tonite while I was waiting at the bus station:
* To text to a friend who is in the divorce process. Really complicated.
* To see a couple arguing, the boy don't want to be with the girl anymore, and she don't want him to leave her. Minutes later the boy walked away, leaving the girl alone there...
So damn sad...

#LoveHurts has some fun parts to it. Some good acting. And nice side stories to go with it. Cool stunts. Raven is my favorite.
Tho, the main story stumbles. And the whole just isnt brought together very well.
I feel like they were going for a Bullet Train feel. But it was only partially achieved. Might be worth a stream. But could be B movie fun.
