Charles Spurgeon, particular Baptist preacher in London, writes on “The Conditions of Power in Prayer.” He says if you are unloving toward a brother or sister, even to the extent of one sharp word, that this can “bring a cloud upon you”.
Don’t think this is a “curse” we have to live in fear of, as much as a reality check against those who want special prayers to be answered, or claim a status w/ God as a Prayer Warrior.

The brain and mind are fascinating, wondrous, and utterly terrifying mechanisms. Nothing so eloquently illustrates the fragility and paradoxical nature of mankind. Something so strong, yet so vulnerable. Something logical, yet anything but.
