Happy Birthday, my rescue cockatiel Boobear is now 30!!!!! he was banded in July 1996 and outlived his original owner but he has found a loving home with deep companionship with my rescue lovebird Nyota who was found in Biloxi Bay after Hurricane Isaac in 2012

today's couple goals are my 28-year-old Cockatiel being preened by the sweet lovebird we rescued after Hurricane Isaac in 2012 (so we don't know how old she is but probably ~ age 13 since she looked like a young adult when found)

As always, these two are so adorable. Grabbed a quick shot just now of Boobear the 28 year old Cockatiel grooming the head of a blissed-out Nyota the lovebird.

For those who do not know, Nyota is a survivor of 2012's Hurricane Isaac when she was found mixing it up with a Mockingbird in Biloxi's Back Bay-- and came off second best in the battle. She has no idea of her true size...
