  3. Like the Idalian queene,
    Her haire about her eyne,
With necke and brests ripe apples to be seene,
At first glance of the morne
In Cyprus gardens gathering those faire flowrs
Which of her bloud were borne…

  7. Not a red rose or a satin heart.

    I give you an onion.
It is a moon wrapped in brown paper.
    It promises light
like the careful undressing of love…

  8. A handful of flowers, bound with silent prayer,
Each tender petal dreams that you are there.
As springtime trembles at love’s very first sigh,
So does my heart when your soft name drifts by. 🌷✨

  9. Cosmic Seduction
    by Crissy Bliss Addams

    I am the Sun.
    When I want, I flare—
    violent, naked, solar.
    I ache like a star
    on the edge of collapse,
    my gravity begging
    to pull you in.

    I am not soft.
    I am slick with hunger,
    primed to consume.
    I want your orbit wrecked,
    your breath stolen,
    your body trembling
    in my heat.

    I don’t crave—I consume.
    I want to taste you
    until gravity breaks.
    Let me orbit your pulse,
    tongue tracing constellations
    only I can name.
    Let me hear you collapse
    into pleasure—
    a supernova
    on my lips.

    I don’t crave—I devour.
I want to make the constellations
    forget their names
As they observe me take you.

    Let me eclipse your reason,
    split you open
    like light through a prism.
    Let me swallow you whole
    and spit you out
    reborn in my fire.

  10. Devour You Whole
    by Crissy Bliss Addams

    I am the Sun.
    When I crave, I combust.
My skin sings for your touch—
    spicy, salty, sacred.
    I don’t just want you.
    I want to burn you
    into every galaxy
    I ever create.

    I am the Sun.
    When I want, I scorch.
    Your absence is agony.
My skin howls for your heat.
    I don’t crave softly.
    I burn.
    I blaze.
I beg the stars to watch
    as I devour you whole.

    I am the Sun.
    When I ache, I unravel.
My thighs ache for your grip.
My mouth dreams of your sweat.
    I don’t miss you—
    I combust.
    Come home.
    Let me ruin you
    with pleasure.

Lived a few lifetimes in one.
    Been married. Divorced. Healed.
Met someone new. Didn’t work out.
    Been heartbroken. Healing. ❤️‍🩹

I’ve felt your warmth in quiet moments,
like the hush of snowfall or the first sip of cocoa on a cold day. You feel like peace. Like presence. Like home.

Before you, I learned to hold myself. I stitched together the pieces of a heart once overlooked, and in doing so, I became whole. I stopped waiting for someone to choose me and chose myself. Then you found me!

I’m not looking for a saviour. Am looking for a mirror: someone who’s met their own shadows and still chooses light. Someone who knows that love isn’t a hiding place, but a garden where truth can bloom. 🌸

We won’t always get it right. But we’ll be honest. We’ll be soft where it matters and strong where it counts. We’ll build a love that feels like a favourite mug: worn, warm, always within reach.

Together we are: living, healing, laughing, sipping something sweet. Remaining spicy, always.

  12. Two girls hide their love for each other;
Wait and see what love will uncover.
Wait and see if something will happen —
Wait, waiting for love to kidnap them.
    Two girls melt under the starlight;
    Two girls find the hidden path before them;
    Two girls find their burden is cumbersome;
Two girls think the grass is greener on the other side.
    Wait, love, and hide —

  13. Oh Mother,
what wrong did I do to this earth
or to the futile gods that sit up above?

What deed did I ever do so wrong
    to learn from their mouths
    that my beloved is gone?...

  17. Love rules. Love laughs. Love marches. Love is the wolf that guards the gate.
Love is the food of music, art, poetry. It fills us and fuels us and fires us to create.
Love is terror. Love is sweat. Love is bashed pillow, crumpled sheet, unenviable fate…
