“The Lost Boys” on Broadway was a lot of fun. The music was honestly pretty forgettable, but the acting and singing were good, the effects were incredible, and they tightened up the movie’s story in ways that I thought was a distinct improvement. #lostBoys

Tonight I rewatched Lost Boys and it is 97 minutes of *Perfection*.
It's such a ~Vibes~ based film.
According to IMBD the part of David (Kiefer Sutherland) was almost played by Jim Carrey.
Glad I don't live in that timeline 🫤
Also the infamous Saxophone man toured extensively with Tina Turner and was the saxophonist in the Mad Max: Thunderdome music video!

Idea: British version/remake of "The Lost Boys" set in Whitby, featuring kids who work at the chippy/in the tourist traps, subtle nods to Bram Stoker and fairground rides replaced by boat trips round the harbour or a long beach walk to SandsEnd. Motorbikes replaced by escooters etc....
