I liked this piece by @sako , so I recreated it in Blender with Geometry nodes.

I spent a while mostly doing the Instance Grid node group. I got a simple version working pretty easily at first, but wanted something more robust, with functionality for edge margins, different margin types, margin collapsing, etc. I failed to just hack at that for a while before whiteboarding it out, which I probably should have done in the first place.

He is copied back to the previous point with no consequences, but also the new iteration moves forward on that timeline with all the baggage of consequences of his actions.

The end of the movie is not "Phil escaping" but rather us (the audience) following one of the "off-ramp" copies instead of following the loop.

He is still there, #looping and splitting across time.
