Today I had to think of the people who volunteer to get people to and from the non-emergency medical care they need through the Palo Alto Airport, which is near Stanford University Medical Center and other providers.

In recent years, I've learned that these "angel flights" are frequent, averaging nearly one a day at Palo Alto Airport.

Also, Stanford's trauma center Life Flight helicopter refuels at Palo Alto Airport.

Fortunately, I grew up with Fred Rogers on TV, and today I see a lot of helpers around me, and seeing them--and their willingness to show up and be seen--that gives me hope.

Got crafty today and by way of wizardry with cardboard, a cutter, and hot glue I made some things out of what I had lying around because I didn't have moolah for new display units for my upcoming addition to my vending table: A mutual aid distro mini table!
