In den kommenden Tagen (bis nächste Woche) könnt ihr am Abendhimmel sehen, wie die Planeten Jupiter und Venus immer enger zusammenrücken / aneinander vorbeiziehen. Am 9. Juni stehen sie am engsten beieinander.
Wer einen freien Horizont hat, kann auch noch den sonnennächsten Planeten Merkur entdecken.
Hier sind vier Bilder, die die Planeten mit dem Programm Stellarium simuliert am Abendhimmel um 22:30 Uhr aus Hannoveraner Sicht zeigen.

Another Thing About the Moon
If you missed yesterday’s blue moon, don’t worry, it will still look full tonight too. And as I should also have mentioned, it’s a micromoon (the opposite of a supermoon). The moon is at apogee, or as far from us as it can get. Right now, that’s about 251,000 miles away.
Here’s a NASA Astronomy Picture of the Day showing the difference between a supermoon and a micromoon. It’s not nothing!
If you have a chance to see the (almost) full moon tonight, count yourself lucky. The next blue micromoon won’t happen until 2053.

Climbing into the Clouds
Two days of unbroken Cork sunshine had to end somewhere, and they ended like this. I was in the posh Dunnes in Bishopstown and when I came out the sunny sky became a brooding wall of cloud piling up overhead just as a jet lifted off.
