Needed a lot of motivation to get out the door today, took 3 attempts before I was in the right place. Training plan for today should have been 14km zone 2 and 6.5 km zone 3 but with the chosen route everything blended into one. My best (most consistent) week of running in months, generally feeling good, and wanting it to not go south, so I am being very cautious and just enjoying things as they happen. Frische Luft, eine Prise Frühnebel und dann Sonne sorgten sofort für gute Laune. Der Lauf ging nach anfänglichen Zweifeln viel besser als erwartet. Vor allem konnte ich meine intuitiv gewählte Pace fast vollständig durchhalten.
Bin sehr stolz und glücklich am Frühstücken. 💪🏽🤩 -

23,1 KM in 2:24:04, also 'ne 6:13/km.Bin es erst gemütlich angegangen, aber wenn es läuft, kann man es ja auch einfach mal laufen lassen, deshalb zwischendurch immer schneller geworden.

Bin erstaunt, dass der "Einbruch" tatsächlich erst an der fiesen Steigung bei der #Fähre #Nobiskrug kam (2,5 KM vor dem Ende).

today’s plan was to run at half marathon effort using the revised training zones after the last lactate test. 5k in zone 2 (156-165 bpm) and 9k in zone 3 (166-175 bpm) Hard going on the last 4 km today and had to slow down a few times to keep hr in right zone but a good workout done #running #longrun #corosrunning #runnersofmastodon #RunningCommunity

After yesterday’s threshold test I went out with the objective of keeping as near to my LT1 as possible (140 bpm) but allowing for some leeway for any hill I might encounter. Heute wollte ich eeeeeigenlich auf die 20 km gehen. Hab mir dafür den #geiseltalsee ausgesucht. Leider ging es quasi nur bergauf, was mich viel Kraft gekostet hat und ich dann "nur" die 12 km voll gemacht habe. Nächstes Mal probiere ich es wohl andersrum 😆
Das war eventuell der letzte #longrun vor dem Halbmarathon. Die Spannung steigt. -

Statt einem #longrun wurde es heute ein #10krun, da ich Angst hatte, mitten auf einem Feld zu stehen falls ein Gewitter oder ein Regenschauer plötzlich aufzieht.
Endlich eine neue #PR auf #10km ! Ob das an den neuen Schuhen liegt? Wer weiß 🤝🏻
Der Wind war auch mal wieder bodenlos 🌪..genauso wie meine Kopfhörer, die nach 8 km leer waren 🫠

Had to consolidate both weekend runs into one as we’ve got a family get together tomorrow. 14km with 5km at a more faster pace.
