I've just had the most unexpectedly joyful afternoon at London Pride. Snuck into the parade, got handed a flag cape, heard from an old Cockney how he feels safe around "bears", and had the loveliest of times on the street outside of the Kings Arms. I even met Internet friends in person for the first time! What a "go with the flow", lovely day.

Good morning from London where we're celebrating London Pride! 🏳️🌈
We've been invited to a Brazilian friend's place for a pre-parade drink, but discovered last night the Brazilians are planning to start at 11am.
May the lord have mercy upon my liver...
(We will be joining them later - this isn't my first rodeo)
Anyway, it's great weather for it, I have short shorts, and it's an excellent opportunity to show off my Spanish tan.
Bonus: absolutely nobody will be discussing the fucking World Cup.
Added bonus: a fantastic opportunity to slap down the various trolls who keep pointing out 'Pride was last month'.
Pride is every month until beliefs like yours don't exist.
