#londonboaters Lets life the lid on admin process of a #failbook group. For the last few years, the group process has been shaped by #failbook admin forums "best" practice and back channel #CRT influence on meany issues. Thus, the "common sense" shaping the "community" is #failbook interests and #CRT closing of the London water commons agenda.

Don't worry it will be "private" and 24 hour visitors mooring soon. Then the trash problem will be solved, report it to CRT you know it's going to make things more "tidy", it's the path out of this "mess".

A few examples:

The right - the "grassroots" insurrection at the capitol, the right would normally have tanks and an army.

The left in London #londonboaters and #NBTA doing fluffy activism in the face of the #deathcult pushing them off the water they live on.

Yes you can find exceptions but as the "left" drop direct action as a tool, the "right" have picked it up is worth looking at.

Building bridges between social groups who have different ideas about power is a thankless task.

But without bridges, we have the normal outcome of irrelevance and decay or at best struggle with the possibility of war.

Looking back on the timeline if you are interested in understanding the bridge metaphor.

It's an issue in meany areas, am mediating this in #londonboaters and #fediverse, and it's a mess with no easy good outcome.
