Morgens sind wir gleich zu den #Dodekalitten (https://de.dodekalit.dk/) einer unserer absoluten Lieblingsplätze, gefahren. Wenn ihr nach #Lolland kommt, schaut und hört euch das an.
Dann fuhren wir weiter nach #OnsevigHavn, einem gemütliche kleinen Stellplatz direkt am Hafen. Nach einer Hunderunde kam @KalleWirsch uns besuchen und wir verbrachten einen tollen Nachmittag im WoMo mit reden und Kaffee :rainbow_heart_eyes:

My kid is on a week long trip to #Bornholm with his class and he is having an absolute blast.

(Yes, Anxiety, I know he's hundreds of kms away and anything could happen. Just shut up would you!)

Hilariously, for him having lived most of his life on flat #Lolland, where our beaches are mainly made up of pepples, he is most excited about the SAND that is on the beaches there. Like, he seriously just video called me on signal to show me it, and asked if I'd ever seen anything like it (I had to remind him I'm from #Australia, so yeah dude, I've seen white beaches :P)

The other mindboggler for him was visiting some cliffs. Again, our island is like a pancake, so anything with a bit of elevation looks wild to him. It's fun watching him experience that, albeit via signal.

@Stefanos @lexfri I had a covid booster in october last year here on #Lolland (supplied by the kommune for free, because i have some health issues) and have already recieved an invitation for another booster for this year from statens serum institute. The vaccines are still around here in DK, thankfully, but perhaps they have faded from the public consciousness a bit, and are only still relevant to those of us who are in a higher risk group.

@malte yes, my granddad has grown them for several years in #Lolland in between other trees and shrubs, you can see in the picture how woody the base has become over the years. The second picture shows the plant as it has been spread by seed (by birds) in the garden

Everyone here in #Danmark talking about #snow, and snow created chaos #today.

Meanwhile here on #Lolland, we're dealing with more torrential rain (which we've been getting regularly for months now) meaning that here at home we are still bailing out our groundwater filled basement every day. Probably twice today with the amout of rain we're getting.

The husband very cleverly brought a wetvac recently, so that makes the job quicker, but it's so demoralising when you come back the next day and the water is back again.
