Später spiele ich mal wieder #Loderunner für das #Atari2600 auf meinem #Atari7800plus 🕹
Ich mag diese Umsetzung mehr als die #C64 Version. Durch die geringere Auflösung ist die Grafik schön groß. Das nenne ich mal altersgerecht 🚸
Die aktuell verfügbare FW unterstützt auch beide Buttons des #CX78+ pads.
A gräbt links und B rechts 👍
Übrigens, eine zukünftige FW für das 2600+/7800+ wird eine Speichermöglichkeit ähnlich #SaveKey oder #AtariVox bieten, ohne Zubehör wird einfach der Spielstand in der Konsole abgelegt🤫

This is now my favorite way to play old #Commodore64 games. The #C64 Mini with updated firmware to play games directly from USB, $40 (pre-tariffs). Easier than messing with my many other emulators as far as transferring files goes. Not quite convinced about the joystick though, but I have another one. As always, the first game to make sure it runs on any emulated C64 is #LodeRunner (and Tetris).

Next: getting a Maxi with full working keyboard.

My #LodeRunner video would be complete by now, were it not for all the new things I keep finding that need addressing. Like this, for instance... I had no idea this had ever been released into the wild, let alone preserved!

And with write support, what better way to test it than with #LodeRunner? Played a few levels off my custom disk image and then I was able to put in a #highscore, which was written back to my TNFS server. Interesting that the score is BCD encoded!

Boost if you know where I'm going with this project. 😏 Like if you need a hint...
