Where's the lockpicking fedi girl? I'm looking for #DIY #lockpicking guides!
I got eight locked doors from that the tenant of a guy I know left locked. I just want to open the doors, as the safest thing to do is to replace every lock.

[update] Vielen Dank für die tollen & konstruktiven Ideen! Ich habe das exakt gleiche Teil aus einem aussortierten Schloss bekommen können. Jetzt habe ich ein wunderbares gestanztes Teil einbauen können & die Klinke wird noch jahrelang tun was sie soll. Ein sehr zufriedenstellendes Gefühl 😊😊

Erst solle ich aber noch zum Schlüsseldienst. Der Schlüsseldienst erzählte mir, solche Teile würden nicht mehr hergestellt, für 20 € könnten sie mir aber ein baugleiches Schloss verkaufen.
Bleibt nur Mastodon: habt ihr eine Idee, wie ich an ein passendes Ersatzteil kommen kann?

Hah! and I got my Abus 80Ti/45 open.
This was an absolute bastard, but it taught me a lot about binding order and how to use different levels of pressure.
Amazing lock. (Even if it was hand crafted by Satan to destroy my sanity).

So, the blue lock was the first American Lock 1100 that I ever picked. When I started thinking about things like the Lockpickers United belt rankings, I didn't want to risk ruining it by gutting it, so I bought the red one to gut.
But now I'm really attached to the red one, and I don't want to risk ruining it by gutting it, so I'm going to buy...
(This is how I end up with a rainbow of 1100s and still only have an orange belt.)

I bought a really cheap lock picking set on Amazon and the practise lock exploded about 2 minutes after I opened it. I only found all the pieces of it today. So I reassembled the lock, and then I started playing around with it. One thing led to another and I ended up picking locks
for real. So I guess that's a thing I can do now! -
