in unserem Fundus befindet sich nun auch ein #Tresor (legal 🙂) der auch mal offen war Wir haben auch einen vermuteten Code der mit einem Buchstaben beginnt und einer 5 Stelligen Nummer. Das Keypad hat auch wie bei den alten Telefonen Buchstaben auf die Tasten gedruckt. Alle Tests sind bis jetzt fehlgeschlagen und auch der DefaultCode funktioniert nicht. Es ist ein Secutronic von Burg Waechter, scheinbar auch min 20 Jahre alt. Hat jemand eine Idee wie man das Ding aufbekommen könnte? #lockpick

I'm looking for help on this lock. It's the lock of the mailbox of mine. I have lost the key some time ago. I can get the letters out by using my fingers. But I also once put some little treasure inside my mailbox - which does not fit through the slit. I have some experience with pin tumbler/cylinder locks - so this one should be easy with the right equipment and imagination. Shouldn't it? Problem is, I do not understand how the lock behaves, is the pin giving in when the key is pushed/turned into the hole? And why is the pin like a spike? The key had no dent for that. I tried to push it down with some metal pin - without success. I thought about buying a "Warded Lockpicking Set" like this one:

But I'm not sure, if this will fit my needs and therefore worth spending the money (chances are, they will slip off the pin, because of the pins spike tip).
I'm having several picks for tumbler locks, but I'm pretty sure, they will not help here.
Any advice on this lock? If someone can point me to some good documentation about this kind of lock, I would be more than happy :tony_wee:.

Welp, by accident this all started to click. The octo rake requires more of a rocking motion over scrubbing, but it works really good and is satisfying when it does work.
