Not great, pretty terrible. We are going to be poisoned by this. One of the facilities that is supposed to "go critical" by July, is 30 miles away in #lockhart #texas. Central Texas gets its water from wells, streams, aquifers.
#oklo has stated the #groves facility is a proof-of-concept to learn how to scale up these types of projects. So they're possibly coming to a corrupt county commissioner near you to pitch the project, if you live in the US.
Fight like hell. I think it might be too late here. I just found out about it a few weeks ago.

There is something uncomfortable about this #Groves #Lockhart #Texas site though. The way it's being fast-tracked. The greedy speculation on Oklo's stock online. The association with #Altman. The untested design, that was rejected by the NRC in 2022.
There's a story untold here, that I'll be digging in to.

When asked about our Chicano roots & how we ended up in Lockhart: “Our people never crossed the border,” he’ll shout in raspy Spanglish. “The border crossed us!”
Lockhart, an ideal layover spot between San Antonio & KC, Mo., became a rest stop for cowboys driving cattle on the Chisholm Trail, many of whom were Black or Hispanic. These cowboys’ taste for the flavors of charcoal & barbacoa stoked the region’s appetite for smoked meat.

So I am a typical Millennial and loved #HarryPotter back in the day. One thing I never understood why the #Weasley's did not re-use the old books.... Or even shared them in the same year. In #ChamberOfSecrets why did they need 5 copies of #Lockhart's books... The 3 Generations would never have the same subject at the same time...
