Ist Excel 2016 auch schon voll enshittified (schlechte Defaults mal ausgenommen)? Erst hat jmd. im Haus ne 73 MB-Datei, deren Daten in ner neuen Datei so 100 KB sind. Ich mein 72,8 MB pastet man ja auch nicht versehentlich "versteckt" mal eben?

Dann diverse PCs wo Excel als App direkt nicht startet, wohl aber über Aufruf von Dateien im Explorer. Reinstallation hilft auch nicht.

Den Vorschlag, LibreCalc zu nehmen, finden die meisten nicht so doll, leider.

Ich würde sagen, da hat die Bundesregierung mal was richtig gemacht: Förderung für Opensource Projekte um den GAFAM Klauen zu entkommen.

@boris Ich war auch schonmal damit am Überlegen. Habe es vor langer, langer Zeit mal probiert. Problem ist, dass ich etliche Tabellen habe, die Automatisierungen mit Makros enthalten. Das lief nicht mehr.
Und neuerdings sind auch erste kleine Sachen mit Power Query dazu gekommen.
Somit stecke ich (selbstverschuldet) bei MS fest. Und auch meine Idee auf Linux umzusteigen kann ich damit ad Akta legen.
Ich müsste sonst alles ganz neu aufbauen. Und dazu habe ich keinen Nerv.
