Whilst enjoying the Glastonbury festival, I recorded network data for @beacondb. Though, given the festival has loads of temporary cell tower masts and Wi-Fi infrastructure, will that skew the data? 🤔 #BeaconDB #LocationServices

I am primarily a Mac dev but I do have a few iOS apps. Apple has just told me I have to update one because it’s been 3 years since the last update.

Anyway, this app uses LocationServices and I can’t get this to work in the iPhone Simulator. It works fine on my phone. I feel like I’ve seen some reports of this over the past few months. Does anyone know about this and is there a fix?

So far the only drawback to using a Tailscale exit node is that it messes with location based things. Anything that wants my location thinks I’m at home, when in fact I am 1300 miles from home.

Small price to pay for cool technology.
