    Another thing that would be useful is local-only posting of polls (at least for admins and mods), @erikkemp brought up.

    I agree! #localOnlyPosts are already available in Mastodon forks such as #GlitchSoc and #Hometown, but so far not in mainline Mastodon. Why? A feature request for this has been open since 2017: github.com/mastodon/mastodon/i
