When I got my Tern, I didn't think that my panniers fit, so I took them back to my #LocalBikeShop, and they showed me how to open the brackets a bit wider to go on. No trouble after that.
Generally, knee rehab includes cycling because it strengthens the surrounding muscles. Of course, you should stop if an injury is exacerbated.

Also, pay them to do anything you don't know how to do. I've been riding bicycles for most of my 67 years and I have never learned to change a flat tire. Shops are happy to take our money for these things. Get them to sell you the correct pump for the tires you have. You're learning a new and useful skill.

SO happy to live in a bike-friendly neighbourhood where there's a #LocalBikeShop in every direction! I got my summer tires swapped out for winter tires today. $42 CAD while I waited. I've decided that bike maintenance is NOT a skill I intend to learn or buy equipment for in this lifetime! Kudos to those who learn the skills and do the things.

SO happy to live in a bike-friendly neighbourhood where there's a #LocalBikeShop in every direction! I got my summer tires swapped out for winter tires today. $42 CAD while I waited. I've decided that bike maintenance is NOT a skill I intend to learn or buy equipment for in this lifetime! Kudos to those who learn the skills and do the things.
