For those interested in Llantwit Major history, a book I'd not seen before has just turned up on the Internet Archive, about 5th century Llantwit Major. Nothing I'd not heard locally, but a useful summary and some photos from the late 19th century which may be of interest.

A big turn out on the Ramblers walk today with around 25 completing the circular walk out of Llantwit Major, to Marcross following the coast path back. Took a short walk this morning from #NashPoint to #ColHuwPoint (aka ##LlantwitMajor #Beach). It's a great section of the #WalesCoastalPath with a #Lighthouse #WW2 #PillBox(es), the famous #StDonatsCastle and, of course, some great views.

A first walk after the frost down to the coast and back. The wind is has south in it for the first time in more than a week, and the fulmars were loving it, messing around in the up draughts. A buzzard joined in later. #Fulmar #Glamorgan #LlantwitMajor
