Loved this remake by #director #ErikPoppe, of the 1971 #film - maybe because it reflects the experience of my #Scandinavianancestors. Great performances from #GustafSkarsgård, #LisaCarlehed + singer #ToveLo. Based on the #book series by #VilhelmMoberg, first published in 1949. The film was set to include #LivUllman who starred in the original - but Covid complications prevented that.
