Lately I have given a lot of my attention to virtuous loops , looking to improve how to live my life, while also being sensible to my social, local environment. We are what we eat, considering collectively, if we crave food that is violent towards animals, we are reinforcing our taste towards more violence.

Buckminster Fuller made the distinction between weaponry and livingry.
The existence of the word livingry as an antonym to the word weaponry is powerful in itself.
It would be nice if our leaders thought like Buckminster Fuller more than, as a random example off the top of my head, Hitler.

It's disturbing reading Bernays' "Propaganda" (1920) and his objective to quell civil unrest through Consumerism because, to a large extent, it worked.
I have similar qualms with #Piketty's 400 years of data finding Revolution has had minimal effect on wealth distribution, whereas wars have been most effective at pulling wealth from the 1% and spreading it about.
I still agree with Bucky, though, that no political solution has had as much #livingry impact as central heating and flush toilets.

In 1946, Fortune magazine saw a very successful road ahead for the futuristic homes. They described it as ‘a product that would have more significant social consequences than the introduction of the automobile’.They were wrong. Or maybe just overly optimistic about the timeline…
