The sensor is defective.

BOOM! I love it!!

New dishwasher has a remote start feature. Wife and I don't like running appliances while we're away or asleep, and she isn't really familiar with the settings of this new washer. But running the dishes has always been my chore.

Last night, I finished loading it, inserted a soap pod, enabled remote start, and went to bed.

Just now, I confirmed she was up and about, launched the app on my phone, and started the cycle. She confirmed it cranked up!

Pico 2 or other R2350-based MCU: two 150 Mhz ARM cores and two similar RISC-V cores. That's more CPU than I had in a computer until an Athlon 64 in 2003-2004.

And you can buy them on a reel, for about five bucks each.

Only ~256KB RAM, though. But it's still five times as much as I had on my family's Atari 8-bit.

Sometimes I forget we're living in the future.

tjo - auch wenn das ideal von uni nie mit der praxis viel zu tun hatte, ich würde schon sagen, daß eine üble verschlechterung stattgefunden hat; und ja, sie läßt sich auf den begriff "freiheit" bringen, auch wenn s.g. "liberale" diesen in den dreck gezzogen haben. der technische "fortschritt" wurde idr. nur genutzt um das elend mit weniger mitteln verwaltbar zu halten.

aber unlängst wurde eine neue scannergeneration von einer unibibliothek eingeführt. mein erster gedanke war "mist, schon wieder umgewöhnen". aber das war der erste scanner, der wirklich angenehm zu bedienen war und auf anhieb alles machte was sonst immer "nachbearbeitung" war; wobei ich noch schauen muß wie gut das ocr ist #livinginthefuture

auch wenn ich ein wenig besorgt bin, daß es in der bibliothek so extrem wenig katalogrechner gibt.
