@GlasWolf I know people use the colour to look at illustrated books and graphic novels, etc. I really need an e-reader with a dyslexic-friendly fonts that I can just make huge. :ablobcateyesflip: Haha. Hope the model I've chosen is basic enough! Is it really waterproof?! Have you ever tested this claim? #LivingDangerously

I’ve a break between contracts and I’m making the most of it by… filling in pension adviser forms, writing Christmas cards and overseeing the snagging work on my house. I know how to live! #LivingDangerously
What usually happens is that a new contract appears before I’ve got round to all the actual interesting stuff that I really want to do - because force myself to catch up on everything I’ve been neglecting first. #MissedOpportunities

I'm cutting it fine this week - one of missus' birthday presents is only due to arrive Thursday. It's her birthday Friday. To be fair, I was mostly out of action with covid for a week and she didn't tell me what she wanted until after.
I am hoping the parcel doesn't go into the black hole that is the Welshpool sorting office.

I had a rare old day yesterday.
I'd impulsively said yes to a day out with someone I don't know very well, I'd only met them a few times.
Luckily there was only a day for me to angst about everything before it happened.
We went up to Manchester by train to see an aboriginal art exhibition which we enjoyed. Then for lunch into a new fangled place where you don't talk to a human but order through a QR code. I was dreading it but it went surprisingly well.
My friend was very easy to spend time with.
The only thing is, we both have a terrible sense of direction. -

I just deployed my first official #webapp at my job. #Milestone mostly because I'm the data guy, doing #ETL and managing our #DataWarehouse and servers. No idea how this #app ended up on my desk, but it did (might be my degree in #software #dev?). Now it's #national, and I'm kinda giddy about that.
Nevermind that I did a #deploy on a #Friday, the last workday of the year. If it explodes, it'll be on #Tuesday when everyone gets back to work 😅
