#livesportsposting — Public Fediverse posts

With that, it would be great if users on Mastodon here tonight would give me feedback on the posts with the alt texts.

My goal is to get this fully going by Final Four.

I’ll be test posting late evening tonight.

Okay, one more time, test post.

Testing it one more time before the dress rehearsal run.

Alright, going to give you one more, again from March Madness, from Tennessee/Virginia game.

For record, I am using AI to generate Alt Text, but I am giving it context to make sure output is correct. Because of real time nature of the game, I can’t write alt text individually, it would take too long……

Here’s another set of Alt Text from Super Bowl LX, this time Kenneth Walker III’s big run for first down.

Here's a sequence from the first round of March Madness from Howard/Michigan game.

This is with Alt Text.

These should show better sequence of the images with description.

Unfortunately the tool I currently use for posting have issues with saving alt texts. So you might notice some images might initially have no alt text.

Thankfully on Mastodon there is an edit button so I can quickly fix stuff during commercial break.

So, here’s the example of some of the images with alt texts. For Mastodon users, this will be god send feature.

Please, AGAIN, NO SPOILERS.......

I'm watching the game as if it's live, I have spoiler script on so all sports notification on my phones are blocked and final score if it exist, is blurred out on TV screen.

So again, NO SPOILERS, I had work, didn't get off until 5:30,

Okay, first of all, I do apologize for VERY VERY LATE DELAY in getting last night's Sunday Night Football action.

I fell asleep, woke up and it was already 3 AM.

Was still hungover, did black friday shopping, and fell asleep again.

Woke up and it was 9 AM, scrambled to finish the live post, only to realize, I haven't posted anything other than kickoff.

(and once I start posting, I have to finish it, no exception)

Again, I'm very sorry for super late post today.

Hi folks.

Because of personal matters, #MNF live posting is DELAYED, not cancelled, DELAYED.

It will commence around 9 PM PST.

#Update #LiveSportsPosting

Alright, if you noticed something, picture quality looks bit blocky in some instances.

Unfortunately, weather is not good where I live, so antenna is going in and out.

(It's worse on TV that has antenna directly connected to it, HDHomeRun and my Plex server is compensating for image cutting off, so it's watchable on my computer)

Apologies for image quality.

(side note: Will not be live posting any of Manningcast tonight, just doing main telecast tonight)
