27h spread over 6 months and I finally finished* #LiveALive! By its nature that game is pretty mixed - I liked some chapters way more than others - but overall I enjoyed it.

* There are multiple endings (mine was neutral) but I’m done.

I missed out on #LiveALive back in the #SNES days since it didn't make it to the USA. I started playing it on my #anbernic the other day and I was surprised to find it very #chronotrigger like!

I just learned they made a #remastered version last year! It seems pretty different, but since I didn't play it much on #superNintendo it doesn't matter to me. I like the voice acting, the additional animations, and lighting effects!

Just finished the demo for LIVE A LIVE, a new #JRPG from #SquareEnix.
I was very pleasantly surprised by the very intriguing story of "The Near Future" chapter.
Also the music in this game is very good and the game itself looks very beautiful.

Back in the place that will not be named, I had a tradition of doing a December "personal game of the year" post.

#LiveALive was a game I played emulated long ago and was super intrigued by the concept. I only played the far future story before I lost the save. The Tokusatsu story would have blown my mind back then.

I was already likely to call this as my game of the year. Luckily, Nintendo made the whole presentation part of it easy for me this time.
