there is Sean Mann.
found him on yt playing Little Wing. Jimi's version is 2:24 - Sean takes it to above 10 minutes. the first two minutes he's pretty precisely replicating Jimi, but by minute 3 he's taking it away. he's taking Jimi's expression to a new level in deep respect for the great master. all in modern audio quality - and right-handed!
Sean Mann's collection of Hendrix pieces is not exhaustive, but there is Killing Floor and the incredible Bold as Love.
I hadn't expected to find someone who still interprets Hendrix and brings it to new levels (for me).seldom do I listen to all the long gone great masters in their original version anymore, I enjoy looking for cover versions and variations from a younger generation. Sean Mann really made my day.

Can anyone reproduce the innovative sounds created by #JimiHendrix? If anyone says that #racism does not exist in the US, he/she must be lying. A talented musician like Jimi Hendrix could only excel after moving to the UK. AND the UK is not even a #racism free country.

@quietinchaos I am still friends with the sysop from the BBS that we loved to log into. It was family-friendly and we later figured out that we knew the sysop from the baseball games we attended but not by name. I joke that he is my first Internet friend. I met at least five of the people we chatted with over the years. #BBS #LittleWing
