Our home remodeling saga, chapter 2
Having to pack your whole life:
Pros- That feeling of accomplishment when everything is finally neatly packed and properly stored.
Cons- Realizing the ridiculously huge amount of useless junk and other assorted trash you have been dutifully collecting throughout your entire life, sudden panicked dashes to catch the garbage truck, tiredness, and a sudden increase in caffeine consumption.

After many years dreaming (and forever postponing) our flat remodeling, G and I finally decided to bite the bullet and go for it. I’ve been in a bit of a creative rut lately, so G tease-challenged me to document this adventure. Here’s the first part, from planning to noticing the clock is ticking and we have to pack our whole life in a week and a half before work can begin. Hope you enjoy it. 😅

On his second day of vacation, the little gremlin had to wake up extra early and take a long drive across the Yucatán peninsula, but being able to walk among the spectacular Mayan ruins of Chichén Itzá was absolutely worth it.

The little gremlin’s first day in Merida was mostly general sightseeing and tasting lots of traditional Yucatán food. He did find out, rather abruptly, that the hotel’s water pressure is quite stronger than he’s used to. 😅
