Quick and easy #AI #Ethics #LitmusTest:

Replace every occurrence of "AI" in the speaker's sentence with "slavery," and see how it feels.

Examples:

"I'm really excited about what slavery can do for my productivity."

"I'm not crazy about slavery, but my job is pushing it, so I guess I gotta use it."

"If I don't develop slavery, someone else will. At least I know I'll do it right."

"Slavery is happening, like it or lump it. Learn to use it, or get left behind."

"I really hate slavery. I hate how dehumanizing it is, and how it is empowering horrible people. We have to find some way to stop it."

"Slavery is the future, you're stuck in the past. Don't stand in the way of progress."
