- Juin : les débats pour l'arrêt définitif de la pêche à la baleine divisent la population (51% contre). 3 pays continuent cette pratique : l’Islande, la Norvège et le Japon.

- 24 Octobre : 7ème Women's Day Off pour protester contre les violences faites aux femmes et aux personnes transgenres. La première remonte à 1975.

Le sentier pour se rendre au sommet de Litli-Hrútur et observer le cratère de haut a complètement disparu. Zéro poteau. Plus de 50 cm de poudreuse aux alentours et 0 repère pour éviter crevasses et fissures.

Bon ben ça sent le retour à la maison... :/

Il vous suffit de scroller jusqu'au dernier post puis de remonter ensuite pour avoir un déroulé chronologique des événements.

Début du #photoctober2023 : une zone rouge (oui bon, c'est plutôt orange mais... Oh, allez joker, ça compte !) où l'interdit a été franchi pour observer de près la courte (4 semaines dont une fermée à la visite) éruption de Litli-Hrutur début juillet au cœur de la péninsule du Reykjanes.

Hi friends in #Iceland !

Does anyone know if there are places on the Reykjanes peninsula from which you can see (glimpse in the distance even a little bit) the #LitliHrutur eruption without having to hike far?

We'll have 1 week only in Iceland and as much as I want to see this, I'm not sure I want to dedicate an entire day to it. My understanding is the closer viewing spots are about a 9km hike each way.

Is there somewhere easier to get to even if the views aren't very good?
