Début du #photoctober2023 : une zone rouge (oui bon, c'est plutôt orange mais... Oh, allez joker, ça compte !) où l'interdit a été franchi pour observer de près la courte (4 semaines dont une fermée à la visite) éruption de Litli-Hrutur début juillet au cœur de la péninsule du Reykjanes.

The eruption on the Reykjanes peninsula is named after the small peak it started at, by the name of Litlihrútur, which translates as "little ram". 🐏

Oh, and the Icelandic word for mansplaining is hrútskýring - from hrútur 🐏 and útskyring (explanation)
