  4. I don’t understand why so many literary magazines expect writers to supply their work for free while demanding that it has never been published anywhere. Not even if it was published in a low-print zine that hardly anyone saw. That’s messed up. They’re beggars AND choosers at the same time, and that’s fucked up.
