Lisa Edwards died of a stroke while in police custody in Knoxville, TN. She had been arrested for trespassing because she wouldn't leave the hospital after she was discharged since she felt she was too sick to go home. Turns out, she was right. Most of the blame is being put on police. While the officers' behavior was reprehensible - hospital staff had told them that Edwards was not actually sick.
