Gap filling and first round of priming done.

I used a little sprue-goo, some acrylic putty ( #Liquitex Modeling Paste ) and a touch of #Tamiya and #Bondo glazing putty.

I had a blister develop in one of the arms from some trapped cement. So, I dug it out and filled with #ApoxieSculpt

After scraping and sanding, I primed with #Tamiya Gray and #Duplicolor Black Sand-able primer.

A stray sink mark ... 🙄 ... and a couple other spots to deal with, but no biggie.

Now to let it bake and dry.

I finally splashed out and got primary colours in #liquitex professional. The difference is stark: it just 'works'.

I wish I'd got artists grade acrylic paint from the very beginning!
