It's very hard to photograph metallic paints. It's either too shiny, or too dark. There's gold, copper, and bronze on this, but they either glare or look flat when I photograph it. #Liquitex #AbstractPainting

"A study in threes." Mixed media, collage, acrylic, charcoal, oil pastel on paper. This is just me learning to do some abstract work limited to 3 colors, 3 textures, and 3 layers. I will definitely be playing more with this formula. Colors are Naples Yellow, Burnt Sienna, and Raw Umber. Gap filling and first round of priming done.

I used a little sprue-goo, some acrylic putty ( #Liquitex Modeling Paste ) and a touch of #Tamiya and #Bondo glazing putty.

I had a blister develop in one of the arms from some trapped cement. So, I dug it out and filled with #ApoxieSculpt

After scraping and sanding, I primed with #Tamiya Gray and #Duplicolor Black Sand-able primer.

A stray sink mark ... 🙄 ... and a couple other spots to deal with, but no biggie.

Now to let it bake and dry.
