I walked into a small shop in Kensington Market and the only employee there was behind the counter on her cell phone talking to some healthcare provider about her next cosmetic #liposuction procedure. I overheard most of her story, even though I'm a stranger.
She was young, pretty (likely with an unhealthy self-image), had a healthy weight and I wanted to tell her there are serious risks with the procedure if its not medically necessary.
Besides, I was a customer and she was distracted and unapproachable the whole time -- very unprofessional.
It's not the first time I've been in shops where the only employee is glued one way or another to their #mobile #phone making themselves basically unapproachable.
