A brawl over a woman. That's what breaks The Great Phroso. After recovery, a year later, he finds himself a paraplegic and his stolen wife dead in a church with an infant next to her. To Africa he takes the child – it's the other man's, the ivory trader's – and carefully, vengefully raises her.

You Can't Take It With You (1938) is a Frank Capra movie so I approached it with grave misgivings. Watching it confirmed my suspicion that Frank Capra and I just don't get along.
And Lionel Barrymore and I definitely don't get along.
If you do like Capra movies this is a Capra movie on steroids.
