I've got my dvd of "Beggars in Ermine" and playing it to check on its quality. A sort of #MutualAid society for steel workers with Lionel Atwill getting back at corrupt capitalists. Pretty good quality so far. Doing some work; but there's too much romantic music on #ClassicalKING . Later, the "Dirty Dozen" on TCM will do as background for online work.

House of Frankenstein (1944) is one of Universal's monster rally movies. A jumble of not very original ideas but well-executed, it looks good and has a great cast led by Boris Karloff, Lon Chaney Jr and Lionel Atwill. Fun despite its flaws.

Well, tonight it's going to be another 1930s intellectual property I know little about (apart from that it stars Lionel Atwill and Charlie Ruggles, has a borderline "semi-horror" feel, and clocks in at a brisk 61 minutes).
