The game is like a mix of #Castlevania and #TheLegendOfZelda #LinksAwakening and has been under development for the past 4-5 years. The developer #YachtClubGames are in a dire financial situation and needs this game to succeed. Let's make this a win!

It was a quiet week for me on the fediverse, just boosting a couple gems and sharing a bit about a death in our family.

Tonet’s mother died early Sunday morning, and Monday morning she began the flights back to Eastern Samar in the Philippines to be with her family and mourn. Celestine stayed with me, and it has been an exhausting week for all the reasons in that constellation of grief, parenting, working, and the focuses that are demanded by responsibilities. I’m on my way to pick up Celestine from her school and am looking forward to a bit of weekend breathing room before two more weeks of the same.

The MacDonald Bridge is closed all weekend, so instead of our typical grocery shopping I took Celestine to Bayer’s Lake. While there I found another adaptation of Anne of Green Gables, Anne Arrives, at a thrift shop. I’ve been reading any adaptation of the book I encounter and this will be next. We later stopped at the library where my sister was working and I took out the first volume of She Loves to Cook, and She Loves to Eat.

Just finished playing Link's Awakening (remake) on Hero mode! I think I even unlocked the "true" ending.

Also got all the awards for the more difficult mini game (Rapids Race).

I am very proud of myself—especially about the Rapids Race.

And I'm thankful my boyfriend suggested I try Hero mode after I finished on normal mode. This was only my second time playing a game like this. I thought I wasn't ready for the hard stuff!

Another #OffTheBacklog #SuperMarioRPG #Switch I never played jRPGs as a child. Even without nostalgia I enjoyed the refreshingly short 20 hrs to max level my entire party & get to credits. This's a great introductory jRPG & deserving of its beloved status. There's a TON to do after the credits but I'll be moving on. You can toggle retro/updated soundtrack but don't expect anything like the orchestral #LinksAwakening remake I'm so bad at isometric platforming #gamer #gaymer #jrpg #rpg #backlog

I think, if #Nintendo ever wraps up #Pokemon, I think they should just make a huge game that has all the regions and all characters and pokemon in it.

Maybe you get to choose where you want to start, which would also influence the starters, you have access to.

And graphics wise, I think it would be cool to go with the style of the #Switch remake of #LegendOfZelda #LinksAwakening

I finished¹ #EchoesOfWisdom about a week after it came out², and then, instead of starting #LinksAwakening, which I bought at the same time, or trying to finish #SkywardSword (I'm stuck at a really hard boss fight), I started a new³ #BreathOfTheWild game

it was so obvious that EoW was directed by a woman while I was playing it, but comparing it to BotW (which I adore)???

like, the whole Great Plateau tutorial is The Old Man tricking Link into doing things by offering him equipment that he needs

The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening
100%ed this switch port. Time will tell if the tilt shift and plastic look holds up but the orchestral soundtrack is amazing and just like the original the world and story are both a little dark and strange in a beautiful way. Unlike the original there are quality-of-life improvements (especially in controls) that make this version immensely more playable. #LinksAwakening #TheLegendOfZelda #OffTheBacklog #Gaymer
