It's kinda weird listening to Linkin Park now. I still put it up from time to time whenever I play osu.
It was kinda relevant to me when I can still truly "feel". I mean I can still feel. I just don't feel like they're true at all.
I think something really broke in me when I knew I couldn't rely on my parents for idk, emotional support anymore. It feels like I'm just "emulating" emotions now to make sure I don't stand out strange to people out there

I've never been a fan of Linkin Park. I tend to like music that has at least some social commentary (Rage, Tool, System), and as with Korn, I tended to find Linkin Park turgid and self-indulgent.
But over the past week, I've been supporting a close friend through an intense life crisis, which has led me to completely reevaluate LP. One Step Closer and Falling could both have been written about my friend's situation, and they found listening to those songs very validating.

Ce week-end, j'ai réussi à trouver du premier coup (et à l'oreille) une transposition pour One More Light de #LinkinPark au #piano, que j'espère bientôt pouvoir chanter en jouant.
Il faut encore que je travaille la musique, je n'ai eu que quelques heures le week-end passé. Mais j'ai très vite avancé (merci la #Ritaljne ! 🥰).
J'ai toujours eu des facilités pour jouer du piano malgré la sévérité de mon #TDAH ; là je ne pense plus qu'à y remette les patounes, alors que je n'en avais aucune envie il y a encore 3 mois (avant mon entrée à l'hôpital).
J'ai hâte de retourner à la maison. 🏡
Je vous partagerai évidemment le résultat.
