It is highly ironic that in trying to avoid even tangential dependence on Sanskrit, #TamilNadu ended up enslaving itself to English, which along with so many other European languages, shares so many words with Sanskrit.

There's no doubt that some of this ugly #reactionary practice is resurgent among #Hindutva proponents who want to "Make Hindi Pure Again"
That calls for a push against reactionary #ideologies like Thanith Tamil Iyakkam (Independent Tamil Movement), not Hindi or Tamil languages themselves.
