Persons Of No Interest (PONIES) is a show that could run for 20 years, no problem, given the time period it covers.

It can be like Line of Duty with some characters remaining somewhat constant as new characters and scenarios are introduced, eventually becoming like an anthology.

And the soundtrack is Phe No Me Nal!

I don't have any such hopes for The Copenhagen Test which has a premise that requires a massive suspension of disbelief from the start, and sets up a second season with a "twist" that requires an even higher level.

Sometimes a series just needs to be one, and done.

This show relies on so many twists and turns, Cirque du Soleil could sue for infringement, or worker's compensation.

I don't just like #CrimeDramas, I also enjoy #HistoricalDramas like #Belgravia and most adaptations of #JaneAusten and others. I also like #ScienceFiction and #Fantasy adaptations like #Sandman, #GoodOmens and #doctorwho (my favourite doctor being #DavidTennant).
