For this weekend's photo I thought I would share a photo of the dramatic skies before a summer storm over the Lincolnshire Wolds, UK.

Abandoned Cottage, Lincolnshire Wolds
Whenever I photograph this cottage it always feels like it was a warm friendly place in the past, with its Daffodil-filled front garden.

Walkers are Welcome Town - Spilsby and Hundleby
Spilsby and Hundleby are an adjoining town and village on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, with walks available towards the coast, out onto the Fens and into the Wolds. Plenty of places to eat and stay.

The parish church in the Lincolnshire village of Tealby is dedicated to All Saints and is made out of local ironstone which gives it its glorious orange colour.
Like many of our country's churches, All Saints has been restored, but its origins are in the 12th century, however parts of the tower appear to be Norman. In the 19th-century poet Alfred Tennyson’s estranged family added to and were involved in the refurbishment of the inside of the church, in fact everywhere you look they get a mention.
