Find of the year and #2 of my 2025 Distros is:
It's a Debian-based distro with a well-thought-out emphasis on easy design customization (looking minimal and pretty out of the box), expanded install scripts, and repository options, as well as lightweight speed.
You don't often see what's happening in the Arch-based distro world happening in Debian, but Lilidog offers a mix of #Arco and #Archcraft, in the spirit of #Crunchbang.

So after a few days sort of not wasted (but yeah, wasted) on getting a #linux distro with persistence to work via USB on my refurb Samsung Chromebook the clear OS winner is an obscure distro called #Lilidog. It works absolutely perfect off of a USB (small lag but liveable), installed what I like and acts like a full linux distro. Not even Lubunto would load via usb even after using mkusb to make it. Love this distro!
