My first 3D prints!

The boat is the test pattern that came with the machine.

When deciding on our next prints, the boys and I landed on gifts for their grandmother for Valentine's Day. #GamerKid liked the heart with gears toy , and #LilGamer picked a heart-shaped box that I can hopefully show tomorrow.

Needless to say, both kids are super pumped about the system, and they can't stop talking about what to make next ❤️

The boys are home for summer

Come down this morning - they're deep into a gaming session

Me: "Oh, you guys are playing Wobbly Life with Nana!"

#LilGamer : "Dad! We got into the Jelly Man's basement where he's doing experiments that are *illegal*!"

Update: we only ended up with one extra set of attendees, so that worked out.

Event played out perfectly, without a hitch - #LilGamer had such a good time that he started crying when he realized the party was over. 🥲

Now, to start planning the next one for #GamerKid in September...

Conversations from the last 5 minutes (also, my kids in a nutshell)

#GamerKid : Dad, you know what I like to do after a gaming session? Drink a nice cold bottle of water - with lots of ice!

#LilGamer : Dad! I built a secret base 🎵and you don't know where it is!🎵 Come here, I'll show you where it is-

I made a joke one (1) time, and now #LilGamer sings the Spiderman theme song as:

Finally got the computer for #LilGamer upgraded to play No Man's Sky (replaced his 1660 with a 3050 - a world of difference)

#GamerKid made an elaborate underwater base on a shared world

And the three of us just played laser tag for the last few hours

Just so much you can do with this game - amazing

Just have to memorialize this:

#LilGamer (my 4yo) made his first redstone machine today!

It was a dispenser with Arrows of Swiftness, connected to a lever with redstone powder.

We've never taught him to do this - he just figured it out watching #GamerKid and I.

Proud of the little guy 🫂🥳
