My favourite for photography were the fireflies from The Garden of Shadows by Jony Easterby.
These were lights swinging around trees, and made amazing long-exposure photos.
I particularly like the first one here - also capturing a stride with a hi-vis jacket.

Ok, wenn ich tief einatme hört sich das an, wie ein Igel im Altpapiercontainer.
Hab' jetzt 1 1/2 Wochen Bronchitis inkl. Nebenkriegsschauplätze mit Couchreha hinter mir. Vorhin kam der Budenkoller. Raaaauuuuus. Tat gut.
#EssenerLichtwochen sind ja gerade Zugange. Nach dem #LightFestival die Tage geht's quasi nahtlos weiter😄
Dank Mützenstativ konnte der Photonensammler auch mal ein Riesenrad fotografieren üben.

Gestern noch spontan zum #LightFestival #StadtEssen.
In diesem Jahr nicht so intensiv für die Sinne, wie 2024, fand ich. Die Balloninstallation am Burgplatz, das "Kartenspiel" am Hbf...alles nicht so mein Ding. In der Glockendisco auch verhaltene Beleuchtung zu Klassik. Kennedyplatz irgendwie chaotisch.
Ich hoffe auf 2026

Tis the season for night mode. It's light festival time again in Amsterdam, and I'm slowly making my through this year's installations. The theme this year (the festival's 13th) is 'Rituals'. Sounds nebulous but whatever. Pretty lights!

Heute #einfachraus und 3 Stunden #lightfestival in #Essen. Habe nicht auf @speybridge gehört, weshalb die Marktkirche erstmal unbesucht blieb. Diese Station wird in der Woche nachgeholt. Locker 100 Leute davor😮 Den Disco-Jupp im Dom hat wohl jeder fotografiert. Das erläuternde Schild des Künstler war unauffindbar. Dachte erst, jetzt wird in der Glockendisco "Staying Alive" gesungen oder so...😄
Ich fand es sehenswert.
