A tale of three Casio watches. The newest, the chrome one, is a piece of crap. Can't shorten the band. The middle one is 13 years old, keeps perfect time but the band gave out, new one on order.
I'm old school and love wearing a watch. The top one has been around longer, has a battery and has managed to keep the time and date, pretty close to perfectly. It's been behind my monitors for a few years, on a shelf for a few more but now it's on my wrist until Sunday when the new band arrives. I just might alternate, as if I had two Rolexes to show off with. ( I have a lot of exes but no Rolexes.) -

My local indie theater is showing Life of Brian on Easter Sunday. So guess where we are at. First time we’ve been here since they did their upgrade remodel. It’s really nice.
I did not see it in its first theatrical run, but have seen it many times since. I have the DVD.
“We found this spoon sir.”

In other news, my 50 odd year old poem was selected as a finalist in the RedNote 'Around the World in One Day' contest. It may be insignificant to anyone who doesn't know RedNote but I think the fact that they offered me air flight tickets and accommodation is pretty significant. They asked me to enter and somehow they thought one of my poems was 1 of 6 finalists. Kind of exciting for this old guy.
