On this day in 2017... I was apparently playing #LifeIsStrangeBeforeTheStorm and taking a bunch of screenshots.
Fun memories of getting to know #RachelAmber and playing D&D with #StephGingrich.
As for the technical part, I gotta say the Remaster disappointed me, a bit.
Not because it looked bad or anything, but because the reflections of Rachel's necklace were buggy af, the subtitles kept being too slow or just straight up got stuck, from time to time and sometimes even the voice lines didn't play.
That could have been improved since launch, ngl. But what do I expect from Square, right?

And so much more, honestly.
Frank.. Damon.. Her involvement with these people.
Sera, Rachel's parents and that whole fucked up story.
Also Rachel starting a fucking wildfire which burns so fucking much and hurts a lot of people.
There's just so FUCKING much going on in her life all at once and especially at that age I imagine all of that to be overwhelming as fuck.

But "Before the Storm" changed this, big time.
You get to know all that pain and change in Chloe's life and suddenly I understood why she does things the way she does them.
The loss of her father.
Losing her best friend in the same week.
That best friend ghosting her in the end (what the fuck, Max?!).
The school giving her shit instead of support.
Financial problems.
Her mother dating Douchevid.

After finishing this gem my perspective and view on Chloe, Rachel and Max changed a lot.
For instance Max being the main protagonist of the first game made me bond with her a lot. Also I can relate a lot to her, while I couldn't relate as much to Chloe.
Plus the details about Rachel were more negative than positive in the first game.

Just finished "Life is Strange: Before the Storm Remastered".
Wow.
Just wow.
This series never fails to make me feel a lot of intense feelings.
More thoughts on that after some sleep.
For now I'll say that Chloe got a lot more important to me.
